Step back in time as you open the door of the Adelaide Biplanes vintage Flight Office, savour the smell of homemade cakes baking, coffee grinding for a cappuccino, then continue on and walk out onto the decking and listen to the rumble of a vintage biplane or just relax and watch students learning to fly.
Adelaide Biplanes’ focus is vintage aeroplanes from the romantic and nostalgic 40’s and 50’s era and incorporates a Flying School for students of all levels of ability. There is a large range of vintage aeroplanes available for Joy Flights, Aerobatic Flights and Charter Flights. Along with students and passengers, visitors are always welcome at Adelaide Biplanes to enjoy a coffee and a snack whilst watching the action on the airfield and soaking up the atmosphere.
Imagine the joy and sheer romance of an open cockpit flight along the stunning McLaren Vale wine region’s coastline …. In the venerable 1940 Tiger Moth, barrel rolling and looping in the Great Lakes biplane, flying two together in the front open cockpit of the big Waco biplane, or taking the controls of the 1942 Boeing Stearman, there really is something for everyone.
Fly the dream, fly the history, fly the legend …..
